For individuals who graduated with a doctorate in psychology within the last 4 years and have been in clinical practice 2-3 years.  The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $75.00.

For individuals who have been in clinical practice 4-5 years.  The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $75.00.

For individuals who graduated with a doctorate in psychology within the last 4 years and have been in clinical practice between 0 and 1 year.

This category of membership is for all psychologists licensed in Hawai'i (clinical practice, academic, military, and those living out of state but licensed in Hawai'i). You qualify as a Full Member if you hold:

1. a Doctorate in psychology or a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology and
2. are licensed as a psychologist in the State of Hawai'i.

The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $150. This category of membership applies if you earn more than $2000 per year in professional activities related to psychology.

You qualify as a General Member if you are a psychologist not licensed in the State of Hawaii (apply as a Full Member if licensed in Hawaii) and hold:

1. a Doctorate in psychology, or
2. a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology.

For individuals who graduated with a doctorate in psychology within the last 4 years and have been in clinical practice between 0 and 1 year.

For individuals who graduated with a doctorate in psychology within the last 4 years and have been in clinical practice 2-3 years.  The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $75.00.

For individuals who have been in clinical practice 4-5 years.  The included Advocacy & Legislative Surcharge is $75.00.

You qualify as an Associate Member by holding a Masters or Doctoral Degree in an allied mental health field or a Masters in psychology or equivalent.

For individuals who are enrolled full-time in a post-baccalaureate degree program in psychology.

Individuals interested and supportive of the purposes of HPA qualify as Supporters.

You may qualify as a Retired member if you are fully retired (65 years or over).
