Healthcare Across Cultures: Understanding and Communication When It Counts Most
Healthcare providers in Hawaiʻi treat clients from a mystifying array of origins. This workshop provides tools to deepen understanding of cultural influences on client interactions, decisions, and communication. Interdisciplinary concepts of cultural dimensions and processes will be presented, followed by an open discussion of attendee experiences and ideas.
