Hawaiian ways of thinking and knowing have much to contribute to our work in mental health and healing. We will explore the practices we use to sustain the quality of the care we provide and tackle what to do in the face of these changing and uncertain times. How much do we rely on traditional wisdom and how much do we innovate and throw out the archive of what we know to make room for responding to change? At the opening of this year’s conference, we will set our minds toward taking in what is shared, connecting with one another, and finding new ideas and signs of hope among the presentations and attendees.
